Missionary Medical Sisters from Frankfurt, along with companions and acquaintances who had accepted our personal invitation, took part in the well-attended opening service for the 2026 Peace Pilgrimage.

A total of 16 candles were designed by various peace-oriented groups from the Rhine-Main region and beyond. In prayer, the victims who are persecuted for standing up for justice were remembered.

During the closing gathering at the Haus am Dom, Dr. Vedrin Sahovic of the Frankfurt chapter of Amnesty International spoke about further approaches to peace work.
